Resin incense has been burned for over 4,000 years in Egypt, Babylon, Israel, and ancient Mayan temples.  Egyptians believed that the golden drops of Myrrh resin incense were the tears of Horus.  It was burned at sunset as thanks to the sun god, Re (Ra).

Inhale the scent of the burning incense of crushed resin to awaken your awareness of the spiritual reality behind our everyday existence.

Celebrating Fairies
Fairy - (Sometimes known as Faerie, Faery, Fey, Wee Folk) In folklore, one of a class of supernatural beings, generally conceived as having a small human form and possessing magical powers.

Some believe that fairies are earth angels who make the world a better place.  They bring love, laughter and healing to those who feel the in tune with nature.  There are many ways to connect with the playful fairies:

Go fishing in a quiet lake

Plant some herbs near your door

Contemplate the beauty of a perfect rose

Squish sand between your toes at the beach

Take a hike in the mountains

Lean against your favorite tree

Take time for yourself to rest and contemplate ways to improve your life.  The fairies will give you answers in the form of thoughts, feelings or seemingly co-in incidental meetings.  After you receive a blessing from the fairies, thank them by watering a tree, picking up litter or planting a beautiful flower.

Barrie, writer of the Peter Pan sagas writes, “…when the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.”

Interesting Huh?!
Mirror divination is known as “Ta” in Tibetan.  According to Lama Dawa, Ta means, “that which is coming forward very clearly.”  Mirror divination uses a mirror usually made of brass, silver, or glass to reflect back to the seer images or words.

Hathor was an ancient Egyptian Sky Goddess of  joy, love, music and dance, and protector of women. Using the sacred eye of Re (Ra), her father and God of the Sun, she had knowledge of everything on earth, in the sea, in the heavens, as well as in the thoughts of humankind.  Hathor carried a shield that could reflect back all things in their true light.  From this shield she created the first magic mirror.  One side used the power of Re’s eye so that the seeker could see everything, no matter how distant in miles or how far into the future.  The other side showed the gazer in his or her true light.  Only the pure could look without flinching.  The Greeks refer to Hathor as Aphrodite (goddess of love).
Bath in rose scented oil, bath salts, or rose petals.  Roses
are sacred to Hathor.

Circle the mirror (any round mirror will do) with turquoise and/or gold.  You can use small gold earrings if necessary.  Gold is the sacred metal of Hathor.

Light red candles, Hathor’s colors.  (Some modern pagans use orange and pink candles to represent Hathor.)

Light rose scented incense on both sides of the mirror.

Meditate and let the images flow from your third eye into the mirror.

Interpret the images using your psychic abilities.  If you are a beginner, you can use a dream dictionary to help you interpret.  But note that you may have different feelings about how to interpret symbols.  Remember the symbols are meaningful to the seer.
