CrystalSkulls

Many people believe that the ancient cultures of Central and South America carved crystal into the shape of skulls as powerful religious objects. They are thought to represent the spirit of ancestors. These rare and mysterious artifacts may be the handiwork of Aztecs or Mayans, but no one knows for sure. Some have been found in Guatemala, Brazil and even Tibet. Mexican archaeologists think they may be pre-Columbian. Where ever they came from we must admit they are puzzling works of art. Hispanic-American collectors think they may have been used on altars, wall displays, even belt buckles. The ancients may have used these eerie, hauntingly beautiful skulls to remind themselves that life is fleeting; enjoy the time you have on earth. In modern times many believe that crystal skulls amplify and focus psychic power, bring forth wisdom, and dispel negative energy. Some say they even have healing abilities.
